Mary Lee Russo, 84, of Denton, Texas passed away April 13, 2012. She was born March 9, 1928 in Shreveport, LA to Johnny Elmo Lay and Mary Elizabeth Bickham. She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Mary and Sal Russo were married on December 17, 1955 in San Antonio, TX on Randolph Air Force Base. Mary is survived by her loving husband; Sal Russo of Denton; sons Barry Russo of Southlake, Texas and Brian Russo of Coldspring, Texas; grandchildren; Kenny, Kyle, Kourtney and Michael Russo; brother, Marshall Rathbun of Center Texas; sister,Aubrey Morris of Shreveport ; sister in Law, Jean Russo of Boston; aunt, Babe Porta of Shreveport and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.


The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors Thursday, April 19th from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. for visitation.


A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 20, 2012 at the St. Mark Catholic Church in Denton She will be laid to rest, immediately following the Mass, at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery in Colleyville, TX.
