Anne Silbernagel

Mary Anne, a devoted wife, mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 7, 2026 at the age of 84. She was surrounded by love, just as she had spent her life giving it.

Anne was a woman of quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family. As a mother, she was nurturing, patient and endlessly supportive-always putting her children first and guiding them with wisdom and love. As a grandmother, she was pure joy, her hugs were comforting, her laughter contagious, and her presence made every moment feel special.

She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures- [faith, cooking, family gatherings, gardening, music, playing golf and of course Bunco]- and she had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome and valued. Her home and her heart were always open.

Anne is survived by her loving husband, Donald Silbernagel of Krum, TX; her loving daughters, Sherry McIntire of Krum, TX and Stephnie Barnes and husband Robin of Krum, TX; her adored grandchildren, Wendie Kearney and husband Chad of New Braunfels, TX; Jason Peden and wife Blair of Justin, TX; Chasitie Watson and husband Kris of Justin, TX; Rachel Peden of Garland, TX and Brandon Raymond of Justin, TX; her sweet great grandchildren: Baylee and Kenzie Kearney, Mia Peden, Noah Peden, Aspen and Sydney Watson, Peyton and Lilly Raymond, Saylor Castaneda. 

She was reunited in Heaven with her parents, Everett and Ima Daniel of Simms, TX and 6 brothers and 5 sisters. 

Visitation will be held from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at New Life First Baptist Church in Krum, Funeral services will follow at 2:30PM. She will be laid to rest following the service at Jackson Cemetery.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the time we were blessed to share with her. Her love, kindness, and legacy will live on through the generations she nurtured and the lives she touched.
