Mary Chrystellee Therneau, age 70, of Canton,Georgia passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.

A visitation will be held at Sosebee Funeral Home in Canton GA on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2023 from 5-7:00 p.m., Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with burial at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Mary has been a resident in Cherokee County for a number of years and was a hairdresser. She was a beloved neighbor who loved visiting others and sitting on her front porch.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jimmy Rushing, Bobby Rushing, Fay Whitfield, Peggy Wilcox, Mae Strange, Ruby Rushing and Sylvia Rushing. Mary is survived by her husband, Steve Therneau; daughter, Lena Sutton; son, Dave Therneau; grandchildren, Zach Bland and Landri Bland; great-granddaughter, Berkley Green-Bland; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
