Mason Ezelle Soward, 70, of

August 5, 1946

Raymondville

to Henry and Madlan Soward. Mason married Maria DeJesus Silva in Rio Hondo, TX on
March 11, 1967
.
He joined the Army and Served in the Vietnam War later joining the National Guard for a 4 year term. Mason was also a member of the
Denton
and Lake Dallas V.F.W.
Mason is survived by his wife Maria, son Mason E. Soward Jr., two daughters Linda Gail Hartwell, Monique Lynn Powers, seven grandchildren and one great-grand daughter.
He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Madlan Soward.
