Obituary
Melissa Mae Kimmel passed away on May 10, 2013 in Dallas at the Baylor Medical Center. She was born January 4, 1968 to Allen and Jan Morgan. Melissa married Jack Kimmel on December 2, 1988 in Sanger, Texas.
Melissa graduated from Denton High School. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Ponder. She was a GA leader and was involved in other church organizations. She enjoyed all the Ponder athletic events. She was the Junior High Librarian for Ponder ISD.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Kimmel; daughter, Kristen Kimmel; son, Bill Kimmel all of Krum; mother, Jan Morgan of Austin, TX; brothers, Craig Morgan of Austin, TX; and Russell Morgan of Claremore, OK; and numerous family members.
The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton on Monday May 13, 2013 from 6-8pm for a visitation. The funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Ponder on Tuesday May 14, 2013 at 4:30pm burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, TX.
