Willis
January 9, 1943 – November 25, 2021
Melvin Carroll Willis was called to his eternal home on Thanksgiving Day – November 25 th , 2021, in Denton, TX following many long years of fighting cancer. Melvin was born in Sulphur Springs, TX to Lynna (Pipkin) and Aaron Willis on January 9 th , 1943. He was married to the joy of his life, Judy Willis, for 41 years.
Melvin touched many lives during his Life's journey where he was known as a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him and loved him. He spent 42 years in the communication industry for companies such as Continental, GTE, Verizon, and a consultant with Fujitsu. After retirement, Melvin's focus turned to being a first-class pecan farmer in the Green Valley area, where he was the "self-appointed mayor of Green Valley coffee group". He was definitely the happiest when he was spending time at the farm!

He was best known for his positive attitude, a strong work ethic, his love of people; and was a respected, dedicated worker who excelled at solving problems to get things done and done right!
