Michael Anthony Argo, 76 passed away at his home in Denton, Texas on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. He was born in South Gate, California to William and Gwen Argo on July 11, 1947. Michael enjoyed going fishing, attending Towne North Baptist Church in Denton TX and spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.

He married Joyce Ann Streit Ellyson on July 27, 1991, at First Baptist Church of Denton. Michael retired from Denton State Supported Living Center where he worked for 26 years as a maintenance worker.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Bobby Argo and a sister Linda Fields.

Michael is survived by his wife Joyce Argo and daughter Rhonda K Argo-Smith and husband Bill, sisters Judy Argo, Gail Salas and brothers Larry Bennett and Gary Bennett and grandchildren Jerry Akin, Christopher (Chris) Akin, Brice Jackson, Donna Smith and Alma Smith and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 21. 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Towne North Baptist Church (Reach Church Denton), 526 Hercules Ln, Denton, Texas 73209
