Michael Clifton Bates was born on July 11, 1977, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 10, 2017 at 7:27 A.M. He was born in Lewisville, Texas to Clifton and Arlene Bates.

He is survived by his loving wife Brandi, four beautiful boys, Michael Clifton Bates II, Eric Brian Aponte both of Farmer Branch, Ray and Conner Lopez and his precious baby boy Colton Andrew Bates, parents, Clifton and Arlene Bates all of Ponder his loving sister, Tricia and husband Arturo Juarez of Sanger, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Chaffin and Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Bates.

He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed forever.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 12, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be Saturday May 13, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. both at the First Baptist Church of Ponder. Burial will follow at Eakins Cemetery.
