Michael transitioned from this life to be with OUR Lord God and His Son Jesus Christ on April 30, 2024.

Today we celebrate the life of Michael Jerome Brown, 63, son, father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather and great friend.

He was born on March 2, 1961 in Tuskaloosa, Alabama. He graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School.
Michael attended the University of Arkansas.
In 1996 Michael married his true love Eva . Michael had a passion for cooking so he pursued a career in the culinary arts.  He relocated with the Radisson Hotel from Denton to Fort Pierce Florida to be the Sous chef for the Ocean Grill Restaurant.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Brown of Denton; daughters, Chante Rice of Alabama, Sunchiray Dounley of Denton and Autura Isabell (JJ) of Denton; sons, Jason Jarrod of Ft. Worth, and Bryan Dounley of Denton; brothers, Sean Brown of Alabama, and Scottie Brown of Alabama; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn Brown, his father, Lawrence E. Brown and his granddaughter, Mya L. Rice.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.
