Michael Cardamone, 72, of Denton passed away on June 22, 2019 in Denton. He was born on April 14, 1947 t Nicholas and Elizabeth Cardamone in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

He grew up in Pennsylvania with his sister, Dolores and was introduced to Texas by the Air Force during the Christmas holiday 1966, where he met his to be wife Marilyn in Brownfield, TX.  Michael has been a blessed father with son, Jason, and a Dentonite for over 45 years.  He retired from Victor Equipment 10 years ago and has since enjoyed participating with his church at First Baptist, his daily Whataburger visits with friends, and weekly "sailing" through garage sales with his wife.

Michael is survived by his wife, Marilyn, son, Jason Cardamone of Denton, sister, Delores Cardamone of Pennsylvania and his beloved cat Blondie.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.  Interment will be held at a later date.
