Michael Judd Cockrell, 67, of Denton, TX passed away on March 16, 2021 after a battle with renal disease.  Michael was born on May 3, 1953 to Mildred Cockrell and Judd Daniel Cockrell in Denton TX. He was a graduate of Denton High School.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Judd Daniel, his mother Mildred and his brothers Donald and George Cockrell.

He is survived by his daughter Desiree' Miller & her husband David Miller of Fort Worth and their children Conner, Raeleigh & Claire, his son Judd Cockrell of Denton and his children Tyson and Brooke Cockrell, their mother Penny Vandergriff, his sisters Teresa Young and Mildred Ann Fain of Sanger, his brothers Jerry Cockrell, Danny Cockrell and Billy Cockrell and numerous cousins and friends.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Saturday, March 20, 2021for visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A celebration of life service will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.
