Michael LeRoy Gorder, 58, of Krum passed away Wednesday June 1, 2016 in Denton, Texas. He was born January 8, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas to Hank and Jimmie Gorder. Michael was married to Debra Gorder and enjoyed bowling and golfing. He was employed by the City of Denton for more than 20 years.

A memorial service for Michael will be Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Michael is survived by his wife Debra Gorder of Krum, mother, Jimmie Gorder of Denton, daughters, Kimberly Gorder of Keller and Kayela Gorder of Lake Dallas, sons, Michael Gorder of Keller, Andrew Gorder of Ponder, AJ and Jonathan Scott of Denton, granddaughters, Hope Wilson, Valla Gorder, Kennedi Hill, Maddison Scott, grandsons, Kaiden Gorder, Karter Allen and Easton Hotchkin.

He is preceded in death by his father Hank Gorder.
