Michael Wayne Horn, Sr., 62, of Sanger, Texas passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Maelynn LaKay Horn, of Sanger, Texas. His daughter, Melody Hunter of Edmond, OK and her husband, Dustin Hunter. He is survived by his son, Michael Wayne Horn Jr., of Gulf Shores, AL and his husband, Brad Newton.

Michael was blessed with 2 grandchildren. Grandson Kyle Hunter and wife Addison, both of Edmond, OK and Granddaughter Makayla Hunter, also of Edmond, OK.

Michael was blessed even more with his only Great Grandson on September 6, 2024. Henry Blaze Hunter was the apple of his eye.

Michael Wayne Horn, Sr. was born in Adrian, MI to Lee and Betty Jo Horn. He had only two sisters, Thelma Yancer of Adrian, MI and Kathy Yancer of Gulf Shores, AL.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Lee Horn, his Uncle Art and Uncle Jim, his grandparents, Willard and Violet Gafner, and Leon and Iva Horn, all of which are from Adrian, MI.

Michael's family is very big. He leaves behind so many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will have a Memorial Service on Monday, November 18, at 2:00 PM at Hilltop Church, where they were members, the church is located in Aubrey, TX at 819 W. Sherman Drive. The Memorial Service will be performed by Gary Sweatman.

Hilltop Church is providing lunch before the service at 1:00 PM.

Psalms 49:15 says:
