Michael Joe Pruiett, 64 of Corinth, Texas passed away on October 9, 2017 in Denton. He was born on September 10, 1953 to Marion and Ruthlene (Depriest) Pruiett in Dallas, Texas.

My dad is a beautiful soul, one of a kind, very passionate in his beliefs. He was a father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was always there for anyone who needed anything. In spite of anything he may have been going through.

He is survived by his daughter, Merideth Laredo and husband, Fernando of Corinth, grandchildren, Fernando "Tre" Laredo and Presley Kay Laredo of Corinth, sisters, Janice Sproat and Karen Sutherland of Denton, brothers, Bill Philen of Austin, Ronald Pruiett of Irving and Gary Pruiett of Gunter, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Eugene Pruiett, wife, Sharon Kay Pruiett, his mother and father, brother and Lee Pruiett.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 2-5PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
