Obituary
Mildred Metha Cogdell, 96, of Sanger, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012. She was born on September 26, 1916 in Denton County to Will Hopkins and Metha Winkelman Hopkins. She married Monroe Cogdell in 1961, who has preceded her in death.
Visitation will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 13, 2012 with a service starting at 11:00 am in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Gene Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Old Alton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Denton Bible Church.
Mildred is survived by her step daughter, Wanell Soslow and husband Richard; step son, James Cogdell and wife Gayle; sisters, Martha Thorell and husband Carl, and Betty Bishop; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; sister, Virginia Behnke; and brothers, William Hopkins and Samuel Hopkins.
