Mildred Charlice Talbott, 84, of Denton passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 in Denton . She was born in Bartlesville , Oklahoma to Charles and Vera Jo Adams on December 27, 1932 . Mildred was married to the late Ted D. Talbott on May 31, 1955 . She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Mildred, or as everyone knew her Charlice, was a graduate of Texas State College for Women in 1955.

Mildred is survived by her daughter Terri-Jean Mallinger and husband Patrick D. Mallinger of Gladstone , Missouri and her son, Thom Talbott and husband Arturo Garcia, Jr. of Denton , Texas .  She had three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Daring Divas Red Hat group, the Benjamin Lyons chapter of DAR , and the Gideons Auxiliary. She was very active with First Christian Church in Denton , Texas .

A memorial service for Mildred will be held at First Christian Church, Denton , Texas on Wednesday, February 22 at 3:00 PM .
