Minnie Charene Mixon White, born on November 27, 1932, in Mobeetie, TX, passed away on October 18, 2024. Raised by her mother and step-father in Texas, Charene moved to Paris, TX from Amarillo in 1989 and was a devoted member of the Paris Church of God. In 2022, she and her husband, Dale White, relocated to Denton, TX.

Charene was a woman of many talents, having worked as a manager of a mobile home park, a cosmetologist, a cashier, and in sales before retiring from Walmart in 2004. She was passionate about quilting, crocheting, sewing, crafting, jigsaw puzzles, and writing poetry. Her musical talents included playing the piano and accordion, and she sang in the choir at a Billy Graham Crusade in the 1960s.

She is survived by her children Ronald Stucker, Patricia Greenley, Danette Yell, and Jon Woodall; step-children Terrye McGrath, Jimmie Glen Woodall, Tony White, Paula Henderson, Teri Patton, Debbie Cooper, Patti White, Wesley White, Jeremy Dennis, David White, and Jerry White; 11 grandchildren, 27 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and several step-great and great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her sister, Loyce McKee, also survives her.

Charene was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie Sharp and Sam Mixon, her stepparents Nan Mixon and Vade Sharp, her son Charles Burdett Stucker, her sister Mary Ackley, her brother Royce Mixon, and her husbands, Orlan Stucker, Jim Woodall, and Dale White. She was also predeceased by stepchildren Paul White and Kathleen Walstead.

A burial service will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 1:30 P.M. The family extends their gratitude to Charene's doctors and staff, as well as Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital and The Vintage, for their compassionate care.
