Montrena Lyn Fortson passed away in Denton, Texas on Sunday, November 27, 2022. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Patricia Williams. Years later, when Pat married Charles Watson, he adopted Montrena as his daughter.  Montrena enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. She loved her grand babies and looked forward to hearing their sweet voices every week. She made others laugh with her sense of humor and she was a light in many people's lives. She is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Williams, her brother Jerry Paul Oestricher, and her brother Bobby Kennedy.

Montrena is survived by her daughter Alysha, son Jacob, son in law Kyle, grand children Kaiden, Makenzie and Liam, father Charles, step father Rudy, sister Carol, nephew Dustin and many other family and friends.
