Myrna Lynn King, 66, of Poolville, Texas passed away on August 16, 2021 in Weatherford, Texas from the COVID 19 virus.
She was born on September 11, 1954 in Denton, Texas to Nathan and Dianna (Brown) James.

She married the apple of her eye on February 23, 1987 in Aubrey, Texas.

Myrna and Apple own and operate Crazy Apple Ranch which they formed in 1998 in Poolville, Texas.
She enjoyed hunting, fishing and simply riding around the property on her buggy visiting and checking on the cows. She always put her family first and enjoyed spending as much time with them as she could.
Myrna was proud of each and every one of her children and their accomplishments. She was always so excited to go on trips with her sisters and family. You just never knew what kind of shenanigans they would get into.
She was a spitfire and full of sass, but she loved with every ounce of her being and her family loved her just as much, if not more.
She will be missed every single day.

She retired from the Denton State School after 25 years of service as a Adaptive Equipment Technician, where she was known for her strong work ethic and most of all her compassion.

She is survived by her husband, Mike (Apple) King of Poolville, sons; George Rawls and wife Angela of Poolville and Michael King and wife Julie of Poolville, daughters, Emily Rawls of Whitesboro, Amy King of Yukon Oklahoma and Janice Cordell and husband Scotty of Boyd. Sisters, Dianna Payne and husband Ricky of Sanger, Sue Garrison and husband Gary of Aubrey. Brother, Paul James and wife Angie of Krum, thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Dianna Alexander.

Her Grandsons Jacob Rawls, Justin Wyman, Trenton Baldwin, Taylor King, Logan King and Darrell Cordell will act as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 5-7PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Sam Redfern officiating.
