Obituary

Myrtle Lucille Pedigo 92 of Pilot Point passed away Friday night, April 7, 2017, at Medical City Denton.

She was born September 6, 1924 in Tioga, Texas to Ambrous Christopher Cheatham and Myrtle Cheatham.  She married Ray Pedigo in Tioga on May 23, 1942 at the First Baptist Church of Tioga. Myrtle was the secretary for Pedigo Insurance, Real Estate and Custom Building until retirement in 1982.  She was a member of the Nineteenth Century Club and worked as a volunteer at Presbyterian Hospital Denton

Myrtle was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Pilot Point serving many years as church pianist, church clerk, Sunday school secretary and also sang in the church choir.

Visitation will be Monday night, April 10 th from 6-8:00 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton.  Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday April 11 th at Calvary Baptist Church in Pilot Point with burial to follow at the Pilot Point Community Cemetery.

Myrtle is survived by daughters, Linda Allen, Janie and husband John Leach, son, Billy Ray and wife Karen Pedigo, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Pedigo.
