Nancy Ruth King, 74 of Aubrey, TX. passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Medical City Hospital of Denton. She was born March 18, 1949, in Antioch, OK to Edward Franklin Cranmore and May Marie Sons Cranmore.

Nancy married Gene King on June 14, 1963, at the Aubrey Assembly of God Church. She was a homemaker and caretaker of all her family and friends. She was devoted to the Ministry beside her husband for 54 years. She became a wife at the age of 14,  a mother of children at ages 16, 18, 20, 30. She could cook a full course meal at the age of 14; made the best homemade biscuits in the world, sewed and made clothes for herself, husband and  children. She tried her best to keep her husband Gene on the straight and narrow pathway.

Visitation will be Friday, July 28, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Faith Assembly in Aubrey, Tx. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Gaylon King officiating. Burial will follow at the Historical Wilson Cemetery in Aubrey, Tx. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Clayton King, Cody Pollard, Hayden Sealy, Jorden King, Jacob Barrett, Connor King. Honorary pallbearers will be Levi King and Lane Sealy.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gene King of Aubrey; son Shannon King and wife Donna of Austin, son Anthony King and wife Hanna of North Carolina, daughter Renee and fiancé Ronny Allen of Aubrey, son Nathan King and wife Amber of Aubrey, brother Eddie Cranmore and wife Judy of Aubrey. Ten grandchildren, Misty, Clayton, Rachel, Cody, Jorden, Katie, Hayden, Connor, Gracie, Levi. 9 Great grandchildren, Jacob, Blakely, Madison, Briggs, Rylee, Lane, Zoe, Olivia, Evelyn.

She was preceded in death by her father Ed Cranmore, mother Marie Cranmore, sister Carolyn Wilson.
