Nancy Kathryn Morata, 53, of Krum, Texas passed away in Dallas, Texas on Sunday, June 13, 2021 after a long battle with Cancer. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on January 9, 1968 to James and Edna Dobbs.

She married Nils Morata in Beeville, Texas in 1987. Together, they raised three children, traveling to various parts of the United States and Europe with the United States Navy. Nancy was a dedicated Wife, Mother, Sister and friend, and was unmistakably the nucleus of the family. She worked in the customer care department at Sally Beauty Supply for 11 years, where she acquired her extended family of close friends and colleagues. The support of her very devoted husband, children, and work family gave her strength continue her fight. Nancy enjoyed traveling with family and spending time with her friends, but here favorite thing to do was enjoy quiet down time with her husband.

She is preceded in death by James Dobbs, June 17, 1939-April 21, 1979 and Edna Dobbs, April 22, 1943- October 17, 2006.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 34 years, Nils Morata; their children, Ashley, Camille and Zack; and her grandchildren, Isabella, Colter, Lyric, Calianna, Wesley, and A.J.

A visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 1-3:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 17, 2021.
