Nancy Ann (Healy) Woodard, age 91, of Denton, Texas, peacefully passed away on August 5, 2026, at Medical City Denton. Born on December 23, 1934, in San Angelo, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of Frank and Ophelia Healy.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Florence “Baby” (Healy) Dalton, Earline (Healy) Eaves, Frank Healy Jr., and Gladys (Healy) Dennis; her children, Jessica (Woodard) Frisbie, Bill Woodard, Mark Woodard; and her grandson, Aaron Frisbie.

She leaves behind a lasting family legacy and is lovingly survived by her son, Orland Woodard; her grandchildren, Stephanie McConnell, Adam Frisbie, Ashlea (Frisbie) Milne, Seth Frisbie, Amie Woodard-Austin, Zachary Woodard, and Morgan Woodard. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, Jordan Beddow, Mason Beddow, Keyaira Hongo, Prince Pugh, Joshua Frisbie, Hyrum Frisbie, Emily Frisbie, Oliver Milne, Liam Milne, Dylan Milne, and Noah Milne; and three great-great-grandchildren, Grey Beddow, Peyton Hongo, and Bash Hongo.

Nancy graduated from Howard College in San Angelo, Texas, and built a deeply meaningful career as the Treatment Program Director at the Alcohol & Drug Awareness Center for the Concho Valley (ADACCV). A dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she faithfully served an 18-month mission in Hemet, California. Adored by many as "Nanny" or "Pooh," Nancy was known for her immense passion and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, spending her life sharing her testimony and ministering to people of all faiths with great fervor and love. Outside of her ministry, she found pure joy in visiting Fredericksburg, Texas, to pick fresh peaches from the trees, and she firmly believed that chocolate made the world a happier place. After her devotion to the Lord, family was the most cherished treasure of her life.

A public celebration of life will be held on August 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM (with a viewing beginning at 10:00 AM) at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3000 Old North Road, Denton, Texas 76209. A streaming link will be provided for those unable to attend the services in person.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the ADACCV at P.O. Box 3805, San Angelo, Texas 76902, or online at www.adaccv.org
