Nelda Marie Riley, 70, of Aubrey, Texas passed from this life, Saturday May 27, 2017 in Aubrey, Texas surrounded by her family. Nelda was born June 16, 1946 in Goree, Texas to William "Bill" Alvey and Dorothy Mae (McGarr) Alvey.

Nelda leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Bill M. Riley. They were married August 9 ^th , 1967. She also leaves behind her son, Eddie Matthew Riley and wife Amanda. Mimi will forever be remembered in the hearts of her four grandchildren, Katy Elaine Riley, Jacob Matthew Riley, Breanna Jo Riley and Cheyenne Nicole Neely all of Aubrey, Texas, sister, Betty Sue Christensen and husband Cris of Shady Shores, Texas, two brothers, Larry Alvey of Aubrey, Texas and Johnny Alvey and wife Linda of Denton, Texas as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Nelda was preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" Alvey and Dorothy Mae (McGarr) Alvey, two sisters, Marybell Miller, Linda Mae Batterton, and nephew, Chris Batterton.

A celebration of her life will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Krugerville Baptist Church in Krugerville, Texas. Cremation will be entrusted to Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors of Denton, Texas.
