Nicanor "Nick" Alambar, Sr., 84, of Denton passed away on June 30, 2020. He was born on October 20, 1935 in Fort McKavett, Texas to Frank and Luisa Alambar.

He is survived by his daughters, Norma Kozlowski and husband Brian of D'Iberville, Miss. , Neomie Sanchez and husband Raul of Krum, Tx., Ninfa Brown and husband Marty of Krum, and Nicolette Alambar of Krum, Tx. Sons, Nick Alambar, Jr., of Krum, Bert Alambar of Denton, Noe Alambar and wife Kim of Krum, Tx., and Norman Alambar and wife Starla of Aubrey, sisters, Catalina Ruiz of Balanger, Tx., Mary Rodriguez of Balanger, Sandra Alambar Grauerholz, of Odessa, Tx., 14 grandchildren, Christina Kozlowski Hand, Brian Joseph Kazaowski, Danille Kozlowski, Michael Kozlowski, Brandy Brown Singleton, Brooke Brown Diaz, Victoria L. Rivera, Gracie Sanchez, Coe Alambar, Nina Alambar, Brody Alambar, Brittany Alambar, Norman II Alambar, Nolan Alambar, 11 great-grandchildren, Cameron Singleton, Cash Singleton, Colt Singleton, Caris Singleton, Charlie Rose Singleton, Covee Singleton, Claire Diaz, Adam Diaz, Amelia Reyes, Roman Hand, and Emma Rivera.

He is proceeded in death by his Wife, Olga Alambar, sister, Caroline Gonzales, brothers, Cecil Alambar and Cruz Alambar.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 1-4PM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. A Rosary will be said following the visitation at 4:00 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denton, Texas. Interment followed at Jackson Cemetery in Krum, Texas.
