Obituary

Nicholas Lombardi, born on April 6, 1979, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 6, 2026, in Justin, Texas. He was a remarkable man whose presence touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy characterized by dedication, love, and unwavering commitment to his family.

Nick was a devoted husband who openly adored his wife, Diane Lombardi. Their partnership brought joy and strength to their life, and many others often said how they envied their love. Together, they shared countless experiences that reflected their deep bond and mutual respect.

Nick was a loving father to his sons, Jason and Mason, who were the light of his life and his greatest source of pride. He truly enjoyed and looked forward to the time he spent taking them fishing, Monster Jams, WWE events and attending their sporting events. His guidance and care helped shape them into the fine and wonderful young men they are today.

Born in Scranton, PA, raised in Denton, TX, and lived in Krum, TX. Nick was deeply connected to his community and enjoyed cooking “Big Nastys BBQ” for the KYSA football games and being a Boat Captain for the Krum High School Fishing Team (THSBA). He worked for Sunrise Redi Mix in Justin, TX and truly felt like a part of the Sunrise family.

Nick’s life was a testament to the power of family and the importance of standing together through life's challenges and triumphs. His kindness, integrity, and genuine spirit will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to call him a friend.

As we say “later” to Nick, we honor a man who lived with purpose and heart, surrounded by those who loved him dearly. His legacy will continue through the lives of Diane, Jason, and Mason, who carry his memory forward with love and reverence. He is also survived by Mother Penny, Sister Theresa (husband Brandt), Brother Alex (wife Amy), Mother-in-law Lana, Sisters’-in-law Bettylynn and Barbara, Brother-in-law Tom, and his many nieces and nephews. Nick is preceded in death by his Father Big Al (Alex) and Brother Jason.
