Norma Mary (Erskine) Bone, 94, of Lewisville, Texas passed away on May 12, 2013. She was born to William and Mary Erskine at Prairie Home, Nebraska, on September 11, 1918.
The youngest of three sisters, her older sisters were Helen Schluterbusch of Cheney, Nebraska and Florence Ross of Boulder, Colorado. Both sisters preceded her in death.
Graduating from the Lincoln School of Commerce, Norma worked several clerical jobs in Nebraska until she was hired to work at the Census Bureau in Washington D.C. During World War II, Norma worked for the War Department at the Pentagon. After the war she married Wilburn Bone of St. Louis, Missouri. Wilburn passed away in 1981 after serving as Commissioner of Forestry for the city of St. Louis. Both were active in the Lighthouse Free Methodist Church of St. Louis.
Norma is survived by her three children: Wilburn Bone, Jr. and wife, Chrystal of Raytown, MO; Diane Tutini and husband, John of Argyle, TX; and Jon Bone and wife, Susan of Carrollton, TX.
Grandchildren: William Bone and Jonathan Bone of Raytown, MO; Jessica Tutini of Fairhope, AL; Samantha Tutini and Alicia Tutini of Argyle, TX; Christen Economidis (husband Michael) of Lubbock, TX; Stephanie Michael (husband Drew) of Roanoke, TX; Evan Bone, David Bone, Megan Bone, Daniel Bone, and Michael Bone of Carrollton, TX.
A graveside service will be held at the Annapolis-Lewis Cemetery in Annapolis, Missouri on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11 a.m.
