Obituary
Norma Ray Neely, 77, of Ponder went home to be with the Lord after passing away unexpectedly in her home on March 21, 2015. Norma was born on May 14, 1937 to Robert and Charleton Sanchez in White Castle, Louisiana.
Norma was an active member of Ponder United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, O'San Richard Neely of Ponder, Texas, one son, Sandy Neely and his wife Gayla of Austin, TX, two daughters, Susan Neely Curtis of Justin, TX, Traci Bell and husband Van of Aubrey, TX, 7 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and one brother, Bobby Sanchez of White Castle, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Betsy Bergeron.
The family will receive friends at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Monday evening, March 23, 2015 from 5-7 PM. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Ponder United Methodist Church in Ponder, Texas with Rev. Rocky Ellison officiating. Interment will follow at Eakins Cemetery in Ponder, Texas.
In lieu of lowers please make donation to the Ponder Volunteer Fire Department in Ponder, Texas.
