Obdulia Jimenez Villarreal, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, in Niceville, Florida, at the age of 88.

Born on October 21, 1937, in Muzquiz Coahuila, Mexico, Obdulia was the treasured daughter of the late Cayetano Jimenez Garza and Amelia Villarreal de Jimenez. From her earliest days, she held family close to her heart, fostering a deep sense of connection and warmth that would define and illuminate her life’s journey.

Obdulia’s unwavering love for those dear to her and her Christian faith were a cornerstone of her character. Her faith and affection were most clearly reflected in her relationship with her children, Oscar Jimenez, Otoniel Jimenez Ana Luisa Jimenez, and Gabriela Wilke who survive her, along with thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. Obdulia’s nurturing spirit, wise counsel, and boundless care shaped the lives of her family in immeasurable ways, leaving an enduring legacy of love, strength, and Christian faith.

Throughout her long and vibrant life, Obdulia remained devoted to her Lord and Savior and her loved ones. The memories she created with her family will continue to inspire and sustain those who knew her. She found her greatest joy in being surrounded by family, demonstrating daily how deeply she cherished these bonds.

Obdulia was preceded in death by her loving parents, Cayetano Jimenez Garza and Amelia Villarreal de Jimenez, her husband Jose Otoniel Jimenez Salazar, and her siblings, Alfredo Jimenez Villarreal, Clementina Jimenez, and Cayetano Jimenez Villarreal, whose guidance and example influenced her own life of devotion to family.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Obdulia’s life will be held on July 30, 2026, at Denton Bible Church, 2300 E. University Dr., Denton, Texas 76209. Family and friends are welcome to gather and pay their respects, reflecting on a life well-lived and a heart well-loved.

Obdulia Jimenez Villarreal leaves behind a legacy of unwavering love, resilience, and faith—a legacy that will remain alive in the hearts of those she touched. She will be remembered always for the depth of her care for her family and the warmth she brought to their lives.
