Oleta Marie Sandlin passed away peacefully in her home on September 6, 2017. She was 96 years of age.

She was born Oleta Marie Riley in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 13, 1921. She was raised in Denison, TX from early childhood and attended schools in Denison, Tulsa, OK and Draughans Business School in Dallas, TX.

She was a member of Plainview Baptist Church in Krum, TX and a life member of both the Order of Eastern Star in Denison and the Red Hat Society of Krum.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Pearl Riley; her husband Dewey Gordon Sandlin; her three sisters LaVelle Foster, Bettye Crumley, Gloria Campbell and brother John Riley.

She is survived by her son James Eubank and wife Patsy of Dallas, TX; Grandson Mike Eubank and wife Tracy of Kauai, HI; Granddaughter Angela Eubank of Krum, TX; Great-Grandson Nicholas Eubank of Austin, TX and Great-Granddaughter Ashley Hayworth and husband Michael of Breckenridge, TX and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren Coye and Claire Hayworth. She leaves behind many more beloved family members and friends and will surely be missed by all.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, September 15, 2017 at DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton, TX. Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at DeBerry. Interment will be Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Fairview Cemetery in Denison, TX.
