Ollie White Evans, age 90, died in Lafayette, Louisiana on August 24, 2024. She attended school in Telephone, TX. She married Charles Thomas Evans of Telephone, TX. They moved to Argyle, TX and raised their family for over 50 years. She worked over 20 years at Denton State School. Ollie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gordenville, TX. She is survived by her children Charlyn Morrison, Gerald Evans of Gordenville, TX, Brenda Anderson of Lafayette, LA, Sheryl Carr of Gainesville, TX seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild. She is proceeded in death by her husband Charles Evans, her parents Walter Clayton White and Dorothy Sanders White, brother Billy Gene White, and her beloved dog Sadie. Funeral services will take place at DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton, TX. Ollie was loved by her family and many friends. She never met a stranger, loved to chat, laugh and tease her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all. She loved to read, can, garden, do word search, play bingo, go for ice cream, eat out and visit with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at DeBerry Funeral Directors.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas.
