Fulmer

On February 2, 2023 Wayne took a closer walk with his Lord and Savior. On April 7, 1945 in his grandparents' home on Prairie Street in Pilot Point, Onus B and Edna (Langley) Fulmer welcomed the first of their children, Onus Wayne Fulmer.
Wayne graduated from Pilot Point Gee High School in 1964. He served two years in the National Guard. Wayne married Irene Stone on October 2, 1970. To them were born Thomas Wayne and Jeffrey Eric. Three grandchildren, Nicole, Anthony, and Linsey. Three great-grandchildren, RJ, Vaniti, and Steel.
Wayne worked for 7UP Bottling Co. for 23 years, 15 years as meat cutter for Piggly Wiggly, Diamond and Stephen's Gno. His hobbies were collecting and selling knives and coins at flea markets.
He was preceded by his parents, sister, 2 sisters-in-law, one nephew, and one brother-in-law.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Irene, sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother James (Margie) of Pilot Point, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will be held at the DeBerry Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Pilot Point Church of Christ on Thursday, February 9, 2023 starting at 10:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at the Pilot Point Community Cemetery following the service.
