Oran "Butch" Granville Reaves Jr. 72, of Denton , Texas passed away on November 27, 2016 in Denton , Texas . He was born on February 8, 1944 in Lorenzo , Texas to Oran Sr. and Minnie Mae Reaves. Butch married Rita Baldridge on July 5, 1963 in Morton , Texas .

After living in West Texas , Butch and Rita moved to Denton in 1966, where he worked in the Electrical Department of the City. Later he started his own business Barco Construction in 1985 as an under ground utility contractor.

Butch is survived by his wife Rita, daughter, Angela DeAnn Reaves, brother, George E. Reaves and wife Lenora all of Denton , sister, Shelia Love and her significant other, Johnny W. James of Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Cary Granville Reaves.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday December 2, 2016 at DeBerry Funeral Directors at 4:00 P.M.
