Oscar "Freddy" Boenker, Jr. of Krum passed away on June 9, 2015 in Denton, Texas. Freddy was born in Dallas, Texas to Oscar and Lawanda (Ratliff) Boenker on September 20, 1941
.
Mr. Boenker was a graduate of Krum High School and the University of North Texas. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war and farmed most of his life.
He is survived by his sons, Greg, Brian and Robert Boenker of Krum, Texas, two sisters, Jane Schute and Peggy Cofer and two grandchildren, August and Kay Boenker and former wife, Donna Boenker.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Oscar and Lawanda Boenker
The family will receive friends at DeBerry funeral Directors on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 6-8 PM. A graveside service will be held at Plainview Cemetery in Krum, Texas on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM.
