Oscar Rodolfo Salas, 91, of Denton passed away on March 11, 2020 at his home. He was born on January 22, 1929 in Lima Peru to Oscar and Hortensia Salas.

He married Zoila Victoria Talledo in Piura, Peru on January 8, 1956. He was co-owner of Salas Hermanos, an auto parts store and owned a trucking company in Peru. He loved to work on cars, drive trucks and fly Stearman byplanes.  He loved his family, including his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was known to all as "Papa Lolo"

He is survived by his daughter and son-in- law, Carmen & Edgardo Aberasturi of Lindsay, Texas;  daughter, Hortencia Salas of Denton, Texas;  son and daughter-in-law, Oscar & Peggy Salas of Little Elm, Texas;  son, Cesar Salas of Denton, Texas and son and daughter-in-law,  Roberto & Sheila Salas of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and brother and sister-in-law, Raul & Teresa Salas of Lima Peru, ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and numerous relatives in Lima, Peru.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar & Hortensia Salas and sister, Hortensia Salas of Lima, Peru.

A Rosary will be said in the Chapel of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denton on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 1:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the Rosary in the Chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
