IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pamela Ann
Harless
November 9, 1951 – March 30, 2025
It is with deep sorrow but also with gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Pamela Ann Harless, a devoted and faithful servant of God, who went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the age of 73.
Pam was born November 9, 1951, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Edward and Nadine Harless. She was the youngest of three sisters. In her younger years she was a star basketball player at Lake Worth High School, often reminiscing it was one of the best times of her life. As a sports enthusiast she also played volleyball and softball throughout her 20's. Additionally, she rode dirt bikes and loved the feeling of freedom that brought her.
Pam had a strong love for God and in her 30's was part of a ministry that included Sunday services, revivals and a prison ministry. As a child she attended the Baptist church down the street from her house, showing up early for Sunday School with her nickel tithe. In Denton, she found a church home at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Pam worked several jobs in her lifetime, including ten years with USPS where she was the first woman mail carrier. She was a diligent worker and eventually settled at Boeing where she had a 30-year career wiring cockpits and wiring other areas of 737 planes. She retired from Boeing in 2015.
Pam was a loving wife and best friend to her wife, Laura, for 20 years. Pam and Laura met at church and together, they built an amazing life that included adventures cruising, traveling, time with family, and building a small farm with many animals. Pam loved the country life and bought her first farm at 30 years old.
She loved animals and most especially her cocker spaniels which she had throughout her life. During her retirement she bred and competed with her miniature donkeys.
Pam is now in the presence of her Heavenly Father, where there are no more tears, no more pain, and only peace and joy. She was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Edward Harless; mother, Ruby Nadine Harless; grandmother, Nessie A Robbins; and sister, Judy Ann Troutman.
She is survived by her loving wife, Laura; stepchildren, Renee Phillips (Terry), and Adam Sandefer; grandchildren, Melynda Bugos (Jason), Adam Phillips, Briannah Phillips, Emilie Phillips, and Colton Phillips; great grandson, Jordan Torres; nephew Erich Troutman; sister, Barbara Key (Phillip); and a host of nieces, cousins, extended family and friends, all of whom are comforted by the knowledge that she is now in the arms of Jesus.
Pam will be interred at Roselawn Memorial Park, 3801 Roselawn Drive, Denton, TX 76207 in the Garden of Roses columbarium. The family will honor the life of their cherished privately, without holding a public service or gathering.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9). We take comfort in knowing that Pam is at rest in the loving arms of our Lord. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
