Obituary
Pansy Harper Moore 91 of Arlington, formerly of Denton, passed away April 26, 2014. She was born February 7, 1923 in Denton County to James Berton Harper and Cleopatra Goff Harper. She attended Denton public Schools.
The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. for visitation. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2014 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Dr. J.R. Chaney and Dr. Bill Skaar officiating. Burial will be at Old Alton Cemetery.
Pansy is survived by, a daughter, Paulette Strong of Portland OR, three sons, Leon Elrod of Oregon City OR, Mark Elrod of California, Gary Elrod of Denton, 3 sister, Wynema Ganzer and Dema Price of Grand Prairie, Patricia Wright of Irving and Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John H. Moore, daughter, Lynda Holder, son, Grover Elrod, sisters, Pauline Arrington, Charlcie Townson, Elaine Davis, Kitty Borelon, brothers, Mayon, Cleo, J.B. and Cliff Harper all of Denton.
Pallbearers will be; Stephen Elrod, Mark Elrod II, Alan Ganzer, Vinson Harper, Larry Clark and Eason Wright.
