Pasty Ruth Farrow, 84, passed away on April 27, 2017. She was born in Grapevine, Texas on August 28, 1932, to Hugh and Stella Smith Ferrell.

As a longtime resident of Lake Dallas, Texas, she was an active member of Lake Cities United Methodist Church. For many years she worked at the Lake Cities Municipal Utility Authority in Lake Dallas.

Patsy is survived by her sister, Anna Frank; sister-in-law, Sue Ferrell; nieces, Judy Kay (Bob) and Karyn Ferrell Lentz; Karyn's son, Pearce Lentz; nephew, Bryan Ferrell (Kim) and their two children, James (Whitney) and Stephanie. She is also survived by Hurshel's nieces and nephews, including Steve and Wanda Forgey and their children.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 56 years, Hurshel Farrow; her brother, Jim Ferrell; and her nephew, Roy White.

She was loved by many. Her laughter and zest for life will be greatly missed until we meet again in Heaven. A memorial service will be held at Lake Cities United Methodist Church in Lake Dallas on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM.

The family is deeply grateful to the staff of Lake Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care of Patsy during her final months, and for the staff of Mercy Hospice who made her final days more comfortable.
