Pat Lane Golden, Sr. 67 of Sanger, passed away on Tuesday September 2, 2014 in Denton. Pat was born October 31, 1946 in Denison,TX to Geneva E. Miller and the late Robert S. Golden. Pat retired from Kroger's in 1992 after his health began to fail him. He served Kroger's in many capacities during his 22 years there and made many friends along the way. Pat enjoyed fishing and camping and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ann of Sanger; Three sons, Pat Golden, Jr. and wife Shawn of Decatur, Robbie Golden and wife Barbara of Krum and Jimmy Spikes and wife Elizabeth of Abilene; Mother, Geneva Miller of Sanger; One brother, Mike Golden and wife Mary Ann of Sanger; One sister, Becky Goode and husband Larry of Sanger; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by his Step-Father, Robert Miller of Sanger and a brother, Bobby Golden of Royce City.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday September 5, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Waco officiating.
