Patricia (Patsy) Larea Bailey peacefully passed away on May 13, 2026, in Krum, Texas. Born on September 23, 1938, in Clay County, Texas, Patricia's life was marked by dedication, strength, and an enduring commitment to the Lord and those she loved.
Patricia was a devoted wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She worked side by side with Larry in their Insurance business. Always willing to lend a helping hand, she was a source of strength to those that she loved.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Clyde and Erma Farar, her devoted husband, Larry Bailey and sister Joyce Gill. Their memories remain etched in the hearts of those who knew her, forming the foundation of a family legacy built on love and resilience.
She is survived by her children Sharon Long and husband Bode, Donald Bailey and wife Elizabeth, and Cindy Gonzales and husband Charles. Grandchildren TJ Maloney and wife Rina, Matt Gonzales and wife Tiffnie, Meagan Duncan, Brittany Tucker and husband Reed, and Madison Gonzales. Great Grandchildren Chase, Azzi, Hazel, Bailey, Dakota, and Elijah.
A Funeral Service to honor Patricia’s life will be held on May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Singing Oaks Church of Christ, located at 101 Cardinal Drive, Denton, Texas, 76209. This service will provide family, friends, and community members the opportunity to celebrate her life and legacy in a serene and respectful setting.
Patricia Larea Bailey's passing leaves a profound void, yet her legacy endures through the lives she touched and the family she nurtured. Her memory will remain a guiding light, inspiring those who knew her to live with the same grace, kindness, and dignity that defined her remarkable journey.
