Patricia Lee Baker, a loving mother and cherished friend, passed away on February 25, 2026, in Ft. Worth, Texas. Born on November 15, 1946, in South Gate, California, Patricia's life was one marked by love, resilience, and a deep devotion to her family.

Patricia was a remarkable mom who raised her daughter, Dana Wright, on her own. Despite facing challenges with very little, she created a warm and nurturing environment that made her daughter feel as though they had everything they needed. The memories Dana holds dear from her childhood reflect the strength and unconditional love that Patricia showered her with.

A kind and caring soul, Patricia always put others' needs above her own. She was the first to lend a helping hand to family or friends in need, embodying a spirit of generosity that touched everyone around her. Patricia's personality lit up every room she entered, creating bonds of affection and warmth that will never be forgotten.

In her leisure time, Patricia found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved visiting the casino, where she would enjoy the thrill of chance with her brother, Ed, and sister-in-law, Jackie. Traveling and cruising were also among her favorite pastimes, reflecting her adventurous spirit and enthusiasm for life's experiences.

Her family remained the center of her universe. Patricia is survived by her beloved daughter and her husband, Robert, who reside in Haslet, Texas. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her brothers, Edward Spears and Ivan Speer Jr., as well as her sister, Tye Speer. Patricia found immense joy in her grandchildren—Shawnasty Boykin-Cunningham and her husband, Daniel; Aaron Back and his wife, Sarah—along with her treasured great-grandchildren: Kayla, Haylie, Aubrey, Drake, Emmett, Kaelynn, and Wyatt.

Though Patricia has departed from this world, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. She is predeceased by her brother Merl Spears, along with her mother, Betty Jo and step dad Ivan "Glen" Speer. Together, they now watch over the family they cherished so deeply.

A Funeral Service celebrating Patricia's life will be held on March 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Her family invites all who knew Patricia to come share in the love and memories of a woman who gave so much to everyone around her. She will be missed dearly but remembered fondly—a great mom, a devoted sister, and a proud grandmother whose love was truly the best there is.
