Patricia "Pat" Ann Ballentine passed away Monday July 11, 2022, in Denton, TX at the age of 81. Born February 1, 1941, in Fayetteville, AR to Roy Edward Ballentine, Sr and Nancy Earline (Huff) Ballentine. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Roy Edward Ballentine, Jr and Randall Ray Ballentine.

Raised by her mother and stepfather Millard Morton "Pete" Mashburn in Tulsa. She was a 1959 graduate of Will Rogers High School and received her BFA from The University of Tulsa in 1971. At the age of 53 she joined the Tulsa Police Academy and served at The Tulsa International Airport from 1994-2008.

She was also a familiar face at her parent's restaurant, Pete's Hamburgers, in Tulsa, a talented artist and animal lover. In her later years she lived in Pryor and had recently moved to Denton, TX to be closer to family.

She is survived by her two nieces Dawn (Wyatt) Mitcham of San Clemente, CA, and Shawn (John) Oliver of Denton, TX; sister Marsha Furrh of Bedford, TX, and her beloved dog Lucy.

A graveside service will take place at Rosehill Memorial Park in Tulsa, OK on Monday July 18th, 2022, at 1:30 pm. It will be hot so dress cool and comfortably.
