Our beloved Patricia Kay Knight fell asleep in the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ in the early morning hours of November 28, 2019, in Denton, Texas. Pat was loved by so many, from her BFF and daily companion, Sugar Plum, to her loving family and devoted friends and colleagues. Pat retired after 30 years as a dedicated public servant at the Denton State School, where she supervised an admiring team of associates and served generations of DSS residents. Upon retirement, Pat continued her life of service to the independent ladies who counted on her supervision and guidance at Kenmar for ten years. At leisure, Pat thoroughly loved the simple things that brought her joy: baking, gardening, mowing, helping Mom care for her goats and chickens, and watching her favorite shows, Gunsmoke and The Wheel of Fortune.

Pat will be greatly missed by her mother, Juanita Knight of Sanger; her sisters, Betsy Knight of Krum, and Bonnie Knight of Austin; her brother, Raymond Glenn Knight, and two nephews, Gus and Dalton, all of Bogata, Texas; sister-in-law, Jerri Clark of Johntown, Texas; and myriad dear friends and associates. Pat is proceeded by her father, Raymond H. Knight, Jr.; her brother-in-law, Ronald P. Bullens; her grandparents, Bessie and Alec Fortune, and Mildred and Raymond H. Knight, Sr.
