Our beloved Patricia Ann Logan, 78, of Argyle, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, Texas, after a brave battle with cancer. Pat was born January 1, 1939 in Pampa, Texas, the daughter of JB and Venna Lee (Follis) Caldwell. She graduated from Pampa High School. Pat married the love of her life, Don Logan, on June 9, 1962 in Pampa. Pat and Don moved to El Paso, Texas in 1970, where they built a life for 25 years and raised two beautiful daughters before moving to Argyle, Texas in 1994.
Pat was loved by everyone who knew her, and had a contagious positive outlook on life. She was passionate about the family and friends she held dear, and received much joy from hosting and entertaining the ones she loved. Pat also had a love for running and playing the piano. She was a church pianist for several years, a private elementary school coach and teacher, Girl Scouts leader and a participant in other school activities for her girls.
In 1994, the family moved to Argyle, Texas, where she became a grandmother to four beautiful grandchildren. Pat was an active member of Thousand Hills Church in Argyle Texas, and was a substitute teacher for Cross Timbers Preschool for many years. Loved by teachers, students, and a wide range of friends and family, Pat's memory will live on in our hearts.
Visitation will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton on Wednesday night, July 5 th from 6-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Thousand Hills Church in Corinth, with Pastor Ben DeBoef officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
Patricia is survived by her husband Don Logan of Argyle, daughters Belinda Logan of Dallas and Tammy Tubbs of Argyle, son-in-law Paul Tubbs of Argyle and 4 beloved grandchildren; Logan, Grayson, Morgan, and Lauren Tubbs.
She was preceded in death by her parents JB and Venna Lee Caldwell, and her brother Mickey Caldwell.
