Pat Rogers started life as the second daughter of Earl and Pearl Buell. She was born on October 1, 1940 in Houston, Texas. Pat and her older sister Nancy were raised on the southwest side of Houston graduating from Bellaire High School. Pat met Lyle Rogers in 1960 and the two were married on May 28, 1961. Lyle and Pat had three children, Kathy, Kevin and Kerry. Pat was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. Once each of the kids were busy with school, Pat went to work and spent many years working for Oshman's Sporting Goods and the Sun Ridge Corporation. She enjoyed working and the people she worked with. She considered many of her close friends at Sun Ridge as a second family. She was a valued employee, always ready to spend whatever time needed to ensure the job was complete.

As a young girl Pat had a passion for riding, training and showing horses. She passed this passion on to her oldest daughter Kathy, never afraid of hard work they spent much their time together around barns and shoveling stalls. When not spending time watching Kathy running poles, barrels or showing her horses, Lyle and Pat enjoyed spending time with the kids taking the boat to numerous lakes around Texas. The family spent many 4th of July celebrations at Lake Texoma, water skiing, fishing and picnicking around the lake. On one occasion, Lyle spent hours in the sun casting a rod and reel to catch a fish, Pat brought him a drink and while standing next to him reached into the water and caught a fish with her hands, handed it to him and walked away, much to Lyle's frustration! Pat took great joy in spending time with her family and watching her children and grandchildren's successes in life. She was attentive and loving to all who knew her. Her desire was for everyone around her to be happy and would always be ready with a kind word and a smile to help anyone in need.

Pat reunited with her beloved husband Lyle on February 9, 2015. She is survived by her sister Nancy Stone, her brother-in-law Ron Stone, daughters Kathy and Kerry, her son Kevin, her son-in-laws Mark Warren, Joey Williams and her daughter-in law Kim Rogers. She was the proud grandmother to Hayden, Justin, Kirsten, John, Lauren and Zackary.

She was a beautiful person who loved life and family, she will be truly missed.
