Patricia Joyce Trotter, 88, of Denton, Texas passed away on October 3, 2023 in Denton, Tx. She was born in Kellogg, Idaho to Kenneth and Ella (Sims) Harvey.

She graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy in Wallace Idaho, Undergraduate Degree from Great Falls University and Scared Heart Nursing School where she earned her Nursing degree and was a Registered Nurse.

She married Jack Trotter in 1957 in Kellogg, Idaho, and then moved to Hobbs, New Mexico. The family moved to Denton, Texas, which became their home for the next 58 Years.

Pat was most proud of her 40-year nursing career, being a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and gladly took on the role of mother for many others. She was a very welcoming and kindhearted person and will be missed by many.

Pat was a devout Catholic all her life and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denton for the last 58 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane Krhovjak, and husband, Britt, of Denton, Texas, Judy Carpenter and husband, Tony of Amarillo, Texas, sons, Chris Trotter and wife Louise of Tomball, Texas, and Tim Trotter and wife Anette of Grapevine, Texas, sister, Mabel Lane of Terre Haute, Indiana, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Trotter, daughter, Joyce Trotter, her mother and father, and brother, Joe Harvey.

A Rosary will be said on Monday, October 9, 2023, at 5:00 PM, the family will receive friends following the Rosary until 7:00 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denton, Texas.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
