Patsy Ruth Cavness, 91, of Krum, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in Denton, TX. She was born on November 12, 1930 to Leroy and Leta Mae Granger, in Marathon, Texas. Patsy attended school in Marathon, Texas and married Sam Cavness on September 2, 1946. She enjoyed cooking and quilting.

She is survived by her sons, Samuel Leroy Cavness and his wife, Dara of Marathon, Texas, and Robert Cavness and wife Paula of Krum, Texas, Toby Cavness of Big Springs, Texas, and Leo Cavness, of Midland, Texas and twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam, her mother and father, and brothers, Buddy Granger and Joe Granger.

Pallbearers will be Matt Cavness, Cody Cavness, Logan Cavness, Buddy Cavness, Mason Cavness and Patrick Cavness.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Marathon Cemetery in Marathon, Texas.
