Obituary

Patsy Ann Johnson, 68, of Krum, Texas passed away at her home, surrounded by her family on Monday, January 24, 2022. She was born in Houston, Texas on August 26, 1953 to Fred and Lela Yount.

She was a devoted woman of God and cared deeply for her family and friends. As a mother, she always put family first and her life was a living example to her daughters. Patsy adored her spouse of 16 years and shared many special memories. Her life displayed nothing but love and kindness and that spilled over to her beloved grandchildren. Gran was such a blessing and many cherished memories will live in the hearts of her grandchildren.

She worked as a service representative for AT&T for over 30 years where she established many friendships over the years.

She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Michelle Olivia Vowell; her parents, Fred and Lela Yount; brothers, Fred Yount, Jr., and Bobby Bamburg; and sister, Joy Stutts.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband Stephen Johnson, of Krum, Texas, daughter Melissa and husband Matthew Linnenburger, daughter Ashley and husband Bret Farris, her three grandchildren, Matthew Linnenburger, Avery Farris, and Noah Farris. She is also survived by her brother Fred Bamburg and wife Pauline, sister Ruby and husband Johnny Ruggles, sister Carolyn and husband Charles Galavitz, sister Gloria and husband Cecil Johnson, brother Tommy Yount and wife Edna, as well as numerous other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Hope Church at 770 Pineloch Dr. in Houston, Texas on Saturday, February 19 at 10:30am.
