Patsy Hawk Kerr passed away peacefully at her home in Denton, Texas on July 8, 2022. She was raised in her hometown of Denton with her parents, Travis and Gracie Hawk. On October 7th, 1960 she married the love of her life, the late Gene Kerr and they created a family and resided on Denison Street until her passing.

Patsy was a true warrior. Her health fight was ongoing, and her strength was incredible; when she was diagnosed with breast cancer she never wavered. She said she would beat it and she was true to her word! Patsy passed that strength into her children who adored their mom.

Patsy's passion was being with her family, working in her yard, traveling, coloring and jigsaw puzzles and of course Elvis. She enjoyed working at Sears & Roebuck in the catalog department, Kolmar Cosmetics, later retire from her own housecleaning business to be a caregiver to her husband.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Kerr, a son, Dennis Kerr, Sr., parents, and many more loved ones.

Her survivors are son, Ricky Kerr (Traci) of Cassville, MO and daughter, Deborah Kerr (Victor) of Denton. She has 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, along with her sister, Teddy Griffin.
