Patsy Ann McCurley, 89, of Corinth, Texas went to be with the Lord peacefully on April 7, 2024 in Corinth. She was born in Denton, Texas on August 9, 1934 to James Welk and Clara Baldridge.

She was well respected and loved in the community and was a member of Lake Shore Baptist Church and volunteered with her husband with the Texas Baptist men. She worked as an administrative assistant all the while being a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, puzzles, and working in her flower bed of roses.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James, of 72 years.

Patsy is survived by sons, Roger McCurley, wife Candice, of Northlake, Texas, Larry McCurley, wife Pam of Corinth, Texas, Randy McCurley, wife Jane OF Boerne, Texas, and Edgar Fowler, wife Judy of Krum, Texas, Brothers-in-law Joe Davis, wife Vicki of Kaufman, Texas, Freddie McCurley, wife Kay of Rockwall, Texas, Sisters-in-law Claudine McCurley of Denton, Texas, twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She had many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, brother-in-law Herb McCurley, and sister-in-law Betty Brown.
